Works great

Easy pairing. with friendly interface 1 2 3 done. Loving the custom keyboard shortcut. Works as advertised with my iPhone, other Mac and aTV3 Realy useful app saving me some space on my desk-> goodbye wireless keyboard and the aTV remote worth paying considering productivity gain

This app is magical!

Seriously. The ability, with simply a hotkey to bluetooth connect to any of your devices to use your keyboard is amazing. One of my favorite apps ever. Keep up the good work!

Does not work with El Capitan

Over a year since updated, doesn’t work with latest OS.

Excellent, but needs a few improvements

Excellent, works as it’s supposed to. Still needs support for keyboard layouts, special characters (international - PC layout).

Perfect!

I use it everytime I’m at the computer with my mobile devices and really like it. The support is also pretty fast and solved my problems.

Best Bluetooth Keyboard Emulator!

With handy shortcuts I can instantly connect to and switch between my MacBook keyboard to my iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and other Macs! This wonderful software is one of the first apps I install on my computer! Using it on a almost daily basis, I find the price for iKeyboard Pro to be more than adequate.

Awesome Little Helper

Initially I did smile thinking of having the chance to write with my MBP keyboard on my iOS devices … not anymore. The installation and setup is really simple and without any hiccups. I have started to appreciate the fact that I can write a lot faster now. Especially, while using applications, which do not have a counterpart on the Mac, e.g. Drafts etc. — this is the only reason I did by 1Keyboard, which avoids having to purchase an additional Bluetooth keyboard, nice! The only little annoyance I have experienced is the fact, that while using the U.S. keyboard as the input source, special characters are not always transferred correctly — e.g. the "ß" in German is translated to ".", the Umlaute are recognised though. Definitely worth the money!

A „must“ for iPad Power users

Works fine, really easy to install and reliable once it is set up. A „must-have“ if you write a lot on iPad and need to use your Mac at the same time. Very fast and individual response to any support issues, many updates with improvements. A mouse-support for getting rid of using the finger to navigate on the iPad would make this App definitly THE perfect tool.

Geat

Takes pretty long to connect to my iPhone 4s. Works much faster with my iPad Mini, but it is still a great app, thanks!

good, but no perfect.

Funktionert, wie es soll. Getestet mit 10.9.4 und iPhone 5. Wie bereits andere beklagen: Der Punkt wird durch ein Komma auf dem IPhone ersetzt. Abhilfe in IOS: Kurzbefehl einrichten. Einstellungen-> Tastatur-> Kurzbefehle : Text . (Punkt) Kurzbefehl ,, (zwei Kommata). Works. Tested with 10.9.4 and iPhone 5. As others already complained. A dot is replaced with a comma on the iPhone. Workaround on iOS: create a shortcut. Preferences->Keyboard->Shortcuts Text . (dot) Shortcut ,, (two commas)

Good but not great..

Great in theory but not actually that good in use. Controling iDevices is fine, but the long promised mouse support for desktop control is still not available, which makes controling a second desktop not really convenient. Besides mapping of alt-keys is a little dodgy. Could certainly be improved in that regard.

Connection drops + loss of umlauts

1keyboard looses bluetooth connection to iOS devices as soon as you switch to another application on your Mac. This is bad because users often need to copy texts from several applications on the Mac to the iPad or iPhone. Users cannot open those Mac apps without loosing the 1keyboard connection. Theres no copy&paste support for umlauts: Typing umlauts transfers them to the iOS device correctly. BUT: Copy&pasting a text with umlauts silently removes all umlauts from the text.

Use all the time….

If you have multiple IOS devices on hand, there is nothing like having this utility…..

Doesnt Pair

I bought this app for $4.99 thinking I would save myself some money by not buying a bluetooth keyboard, but I was wrong. Look up pairing issues with iPhones and Mac products, its horrible (only works with hotspot on, which I dont want to use). Read the fine print as well, there is a limited amount of words you can type, and you can only connect to one device. There is no upgrade to pro, as the link doesnt work and they require you to allow them access to your account to automatically pay them. Steer clear.

Exactly what I wanted.

When I got fed up with navigating passwords and user accounts on my AppleTV I wondered why they didn’t put a keyboard on the back of the remote. I then thought about the added costs and realized that my initial thought was a bit demanding… …but my next one seemed to be fair: Why cn’t I just use my MacBook as a bluetooth keyboard for devices? This SHOULD be built into the functionality of Mavericks. Thankyou Eyal Wiener for rectifying this glaring oversight by Cupertino. I wish the bluetooth sync was better but I presume the glitch is in Bluetooth, not 1Keyboard.

Dead in the water

Well, I purchased the full version and it was working perfectly until I tried to use it the other day… all options are grayed out including ‘Quit 1Keyboard’. I used Activity Monitor to quit the process and restarted it - still all grayed out. So, I deleted the app and reinstalled it, still to no avail. Tried to find a way to reach out for help but came up with no solutions; hence this review. Not sure if an OS update killed it or if it was an iOS update… do not purchase this app until an update is released! If this bug gets squashed, I will highly recommend it, but for now it’s a dud.

Great little app

This works great for me - it sure makes typing on my iPhone a whole lot easier, and the app seems to work fine - I’ve had no troubles at all. I would recommend this app.

Great app

No more hunting through the couch for that little apple tv remote. Yay!

Good App, but not for my uses

I tried that app for a breif moment. Unfortunately I will be asking Apple for a refund shortly. While the app does do what it states and does it well, it’s not for the purposes I was looking for. I already have an app very similar to this one called iKeyboard, which does virtually the same thing. This app is definitely an improved version of iKeyboard with more features, so no complaints there. What I was looking for (and doesn’t seem to exist) is an app where I can be watching a video in full screen while being able to use the keyboard to type notes on my iPad. Unfortunately once you active the bluetooth keyboard feature, the Mac suddenly switches to a different space/desktop separate from the full screen video. This renders it useless for my purposes as I want to watch the video while taking notes. The other annoying thing is when this app is on, it shows a graphic in the middle of the screen stating the device I’m typing on. I’d rather not have that graphic there or at least have the option to remove it. So basically if these things were changed in the app, I would rate it 5 stars and would be happy to keep it. Until then, it’s not for me. Please notify me if these changes are implemented and I’d be happy to purchase it again.

Works as advertised

Great little app. Has worked for me without a hitch.
