Bought solely to control my Apple TV. Works flawlessly!

I’ve got this app synced to my work and personal phone, and several AppleTVs. Works like a charm. Works great with a clip to attach a phone/ipad to your macbook.

This Application is Amazing, as you can type on and unlock all your devices with this App which is great for email and other Apps. I would also recomend this to anyone who plays NBA 2K and wants the locker codes, this is an extremely good way to do that if you are a decent typer. And I would easily rate this App 5/5 Stars

Once you get it all set up. Set up a hotkey and then everything just works.

Works great!!! I really love th ability of having a full keyboard. It is also way faster then the apple remote and alot more accurate than the phone controls.

Being able to assign F-keys, or other key combos to toggle, or paste (etc) is nice. But this utility will turn a copied “list” into a single-flow sentence, with the character “j” in the places where, normally, a new line would occur. In other words, it is picking up Line feed, or n/l, (carriage return, whatever) from a plain text doc, and mangling it when pasted into a 5S iPhone. If you never need to copy/paste a list, you’ve nothing to fear! <laughs> It also has a habit of pasting whatever text was last “copied” on the iPhone, rather than the most recently copied text from the Mac, if you use Cmd-V through 1Keyboard. It clearly has not been updated since launch. Not good...

Great idea, and for the most part, great execution. Responsive, and I can get stuff typed very quickly. There are two issues that keep me from using it (and wishing I could get a refund...): * Whenver I use it, it switches the keyboard to the Samsung default (Im using a Galaxy S4). I love my Swype keyboard and despise the stock Samsung one. I cant live with it changing every time I use this app. * Cut/copy and paste not supported. Granted this is a nice-to-have, but it would be huge for me. If those two problems were solved, I would be back in a hurry for sure!

I don’t need this often, but when I do, it is great. Just launch on my Mac, and I am typing into my Apple TV instead of navigating for each letter. Great product!

I use this primarily with my Apple TV when I’m on the couch with my laptop. It works great. Can’t find the silly apple tv remote because it’s too small and probably got lost in the couch again? Don’t want to grab the phone and wait for the Remote app to (very slowly) open and connect to the Apple TV? No problem. 1Keyboard has you covered. It’s sweet.

1keyboard is a total life saver! I lost my apple TV remote and couldn’t set it up after I moved. I didn’t want to buy another remove that I would lose again (they’re wayyyy to small lol) so I google searched for a solution and found this product after about an hour. Bought it, downloaded it, and connected my apple TV within 15 minutes!! It works perfectly! It even helps when I’m studying and can’t text my friends from iMessage on my computer; I now type-text them with my iPhone connected to 1keyboard. This product has given me a way to control my TV and phone, from my computer. I can’t think of a more useful product! :D

Over time, I’ve become increasingly accustomed, enthusiastic, and then addicted to this little utility! It’s become one of those things when I use the shortcut, I expect to be on the target device and screen immediately… then back… then somewhere else… without lifting my hands from my favorite keyboard. it was time to give it a 5. My only irritation has been when using my Plantronics headset — I often can’t connect to my iOS device when paired to my headset. Not a biggie, and may not be a 1Keyboard issue at all… and I must admit to having been unconcerend enough to investiaget further. Thanks for this one! Useful and saved on other gear as I put the dedicated “separate keyboards” I used to use in the corner of the closet. (update: was reconfiguring to add a new 6s+ to handoff with 1Keyboard and popped back into the App Store just to make certain I’d already given a 5…)

Tried it on my iPhone, easy to set up and does well what it is described to do— type on my iPhone from a computer keyboard. Meanwhile, I wish the app could also allow keyboard control over games, like simple games that use arrow keys only. It would make the app really attractive to add features like controlling the phone or playing games through keyboard besides the current typing feature.

I would have rated it three stars because it seems to work fine. I do wish you could use it to do things like return to the home screen on iOS but I understand that’s a tecnical limitation. The reason I demoted it was that it interupted what I was trying to do with a popup message asking me to rate it. Any app that intentionally interupts me asking me to do it a favor, especially one that I’ve paid a fair price for, irks me.

App needs an iOS 9 update - by default OS X intercepts iOS 9 keys (Command-TAB, etc) and prevents keyboard navigation functions There are a number of reviews and web pages eluding to keyboard AND trackpad/mouse support for this app, however, it is keyboard only. This makes claims that you can ‘control’ your ’second laptop/desktop’ dubious at best. It simply doesnt provide required pointer input. The author should make this clearer since old versions of the app included this capability.

It’s a useful application but the connection speed can be slow sometime. I hope it will improve in the future. :) Also the ESC key is a shortcut for exit the bluetooth pairing mode, making the ESC non-existed via bluetooth connection. Some keyboard combinations won’t work too.

I purchased this to connect my laptop to the Apple TV. Followed the instructions (which were skimpy) carefully and tried everything multiple times. Could not get the Apple TV to connect via bluetooth to this program. But there was a button to click for customer support, so I sent an email. I explained that instructions for connecting to Apple TV were way too sketchy and I needed better instructions. Did not hear back in 4 days so I wrote a second email. Still no response after 5 days. $10 down the drain.

great product, but didn’t show up in itunes app search when I was looking for it.

I can’t connect to new Apple TV. I contacted the support in Email and twitter, but haven’t heard back from them for while. I sent them another message today. I am not happy.

No more to say really. Just doesn’t work with the new 4th gen apple tv and no helpful troubleshooting. Reached out to customer service and haven’t heard back yet.
