Does not work with new apple TV

Went completely throught the trouble shooting and setup for an hour trying to get my MBP to work with my Apple tv 4th gen. I contacted support and have not heard anything. 10 dollars wasted. On the plus side I can use my laptop to type on my phone. Not really a feature since apple builds it in way cleaner with continuity. It has been almost a week and the app has not worked since day 1. I will change my review if there is a resolution.

Love it

Has totally changed how I interact with my computer and with my iPad. It’s very fast and easy to be reading something on my mac and then input some text into my notetaking app on the iPad.

a bit pricy

it’s such a good product, I would love to see the price drop just a bit.

Used to love her (with Apple TV), but I had to….

It used to work with Apple TV, however, it will not pair with the latest Apple TV. I’d appreciate any notification I could get to let me know if they plan on fixing. I have not seen a single mention on the website.

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY

Hasn’t been updated in a year. Does NOT WORK with 4th Gen Apple TV. No support.

Great but cannot change input source with cmd+space!

It’s great! I’m so pleased with it. You’ve done greate job! However, as I’m Korean I am often using command+space for exchange Keyboard Input Source such as from English to Korean or from Korean to English. I already tried changing the language to Korean in Settings menu of 1Keyboard but when I type ‘Command+shift’ my iPhone always do ‘Spotlight Search’. Could you make a function in settings to change a keyboard shortcut such as spotlight, input sources, … and so force? Thanks in advance.

Does Not Work With New Apple TV

I wish I had read the reviews or trusted my instincts when specifications weren’t prominently placed in the description. It’s irresponsible for a developer to not tell potential customers about incompatibility with new devices. At the very least, the web site should be updated to refer to Apple TV 3 instead of just Apple TV. That would be more honest. It sounds like you had a good product. Why be sketchy and deceitful now?

Can only type, but no volume, playback control

Developer has stopped updating 1Keyboard for a year now, so I think the app can’t cope with the new changes in both OS X and iOS. In my case, I can’t control the media (volume, playback) on my target device. You could only do the typing. Considering that the app is quite pricey but can support only remote typing. I wouldn’t recommend the app for those who haven’t decided yet. Don’t bother with it, you got many othe decent choices available in the market. By the way, don’t be fooled by the support email that being given. They won’t answer once they got your money anyway. updated: I would give negative star if I could. really frustrating that you cannot control the media player.

Doesn’t work with windows 10 and mac

I want a refund back since it doesn’t work as promised - Windows 10 just shows repeatedly Driver error after connecting for a moment with the mac after BT pairing.

El Capitan and AppleTV 4thGen DOESN’T WORK

As title said, does NOT work on El Capitan or the AppleTV 4thGen.

Great when you have a broken screen

I was trying to factory restore my broken screen iPhone, but I couldn’t since certain keys in the screen where not working, this app was the perfect solution to be able to type what I needed in order to restore my iPhone using my MacbookPro keyboard, thank you guys, great app!

Pretty good, could use some updates

It’s nice and unintrusive, switching devices works pretty fast, it’s great for typing, but lacking a bit on shortcut-side, partially due to OS X and iOS sharing some system shortcuts that can’t be captured on OS X, but partialy because of the app. My biggest issue is that hitting escape disconnects from iOS devices. There are iOS apps using escape as keyboard shortcut so it’s quite frustrating when you want to use those and you disconnect instead. Especially since you can use escape when connected to Apple TV. Since cmd+tab does the disconnect automatically (I’m guessing stuff like that and Spotlight can’t be captured, but it would be a killer feature if it was doable) and there is also a custimizable keyboard shortcut to toggle between dektop and device, there is really no need for escape to do it too. Media keys no longer seem to work (tried from multiple Macs with 10.11 to multiple iOS 9.3 devices). Overall it’s a decent keyboard replacement and definitely worth its price, but it still has a lot of untapped potential.
